I don’t know how to feel, I just need to listen to the project and see where it goes. I see and understand the whole strategy to market/promote it and it will work for the sells but for the professional critic what’s matter is quality, we’ll see.

I’m so excited to have pre-ordered the vinyl. It looks gorgeous!

Thank god her husband isn’t on this first act

Exactly my thoughts. It became too much. Their Last good song together was Drunk in love

He actually co-wrote a few songs on Act 1. He is listed on the the credits.

QUEENNNN s***!! Can’t wait!!

The Parkwood team gets another “A” for packaging/marketing. Excited about the appearance of the legendary Grace Jones…but the proof is in the pudding (a/k/a the MUSIC)

I have a bad feeling though about Renaissance. I hope it doesn’t turnout to be a whole load of toilet number 2 with people hyping it up because its Beyonce, like how they hyped BMS (its not bad but its mid). cant lie though I’m excited.

My prediction is it will be comprised of Disco, House Music, EDM, Techno, 80’s dance influences, 60’s to 70’s soul inspired dance music, Afro beat influences. I think she’s going everywhere and flipping past hits…maybe even country…the country might be act 2 or 3 because I didn’t see country songwriters or producers in this lineup. Renaissance is a complete revival of past art and music! So, thematically it’s supposed to be “a whole load” of styles. Let’s see! Come on, 7/29!

I predicted tems was gonna be on this album. Beyonce loves working with hot new artists

Renaissance has a part 2 and 3, so be expecting alot of collaborations on those albums.

pReDiCtIoNs …. Oh shut up! You’re no industry insider lmao.

They really try to pretend that they are part of the industry!!! I be like, Girl, hush!!! because they barely stream, much less purchase ANYTHING. They’re just observers and lousy ones at that!!!!

Glad I didn’t get the vinyl version 🤣😂🤣 that cover is a joke! 💅🏾 She looks like black female Napoléon

Once again, she inspired by White people again 💅🏾😒

Girl, STFU!!! Grace Jones is not white!!!!!

So Napoléon is not white? Not delusional h o e💅🏾 Get your dumb brain check

@Nokeywords Renaissance is a period in European history, dummy!

Its giving an updated Sasha Fierce vinyl. I guess thats the whole idea of Renaissance. This music better slap Beyonce come on now.

Looking a fat old has been mess as usual.

Like you and yo momma.

A fat Billionaire! Try again!

@D did I say it, b****? Go sit over there! Höe!

Old and STILL on top!

Yo momma ain’t! B****!!!!!

I think that Beyoncé is trying to “introduce” herself as “the” one that will redefine black music in the modern world and I guess that’s why there will be a trilogy. She could have release 1 album with a mix of different genre but she decided to release 3 albums and each one has a major black genre attached to.

The title “Renaissance” has multiple definition, in french it means “Rebirth” but also Renaissance is a movement in European history associated with the restoration of honor to the literature, philosophy and arts of Greco-Roman antiquity. It was also accompanied by a change in the representation of the world, religious reforms, new methods of disseminating information (printing at the time), great discoveries and economic dynamism favored by many innovations.

Stfu it’s a flop

Because you really think a troll could tell me what to do? Get some education and don’t talk about what you don’t even understand, how can it be a flop when it hasn’t been release yet? Now gtfo and come back when you will know your abc.

Beyoncé is NOT redefining Black Music. Old School Black Music INSPIRED NEWER artists to incorporate and appropriate their sound.

Her music is a significant DOWNGRADE. The rendition of “Before I Let Go” IS absolutely forgettable.

She hasn’t released a solid Ballad in her entire career. She was screaming all over “Halo”. No real vocal control.

Her R&B ballads such as “Dance For You” and “Me, Myself and I” are very karaoke.

“Sweet Dreams” “Work It Out” “Deja Vu” and “Who Run The World” are her previous attempts at Dance-POP, lol None of these tracks have INSPIRED anyone. Chloe is currently releasing booty shaking music which is a Florida style.

thanks for telling this to the hive, just coz she sings better than Rihanna doesn’t make her music influential or groundbreaking. she’s not redefining anything for black music. she’s the Dj Khaled of the girlies, she scouts for talent then prints her name in bold on top when the project is completed. Rihanna came and did the hits thing better, effortlessly collaborating with rappers, Djs etc. all of a sudden she was not about the hits anymore but rather ‘bodies of work’ so she can one-up Ms Fenty. Beyonce’s probably furious Rihanna made an album as good as Anti coz that didn’t work in her liking. she’s catty and this album shall prove she’s just as hungry for hits as any other popstar.

I never said Beyoncé was redifining black music, I SAID : I THINK Beyoncé is TRYING to “introduce” herself as “the” one that will redefine black music in the modern world.

Do you understand the difference? I don’t say she is doing it, I say that I think this is what she wants people to think of her with this project in the end of the releases under that title “Renaissance” and the meaning behind. She’s clearly into black themes a lot, I’m just trying to understand her intentions and sorry but no, I ain’t no member of the beehive 🤷‍♂️ that’s silly to think, especially when I was the first to comment and it was clearly not coming from a fanzone.

“I don’t know how to feel, I just need to listen to the project and see where it goes. I see and understand the whole strategy to market/promote it and it will work for the sells but for the professional critic what’s matter is quality, we’ll see.”

I think Beyoncé is great at making fun songs like “Crazy In Love” and “Single Ladies”. She is at her best when she record these sorta tracks.

But actual Dance-POP and R&B/Pop ballads are usually misses for me.

Rihanna definitely make better Dance-POP.

So for Beyoncé to act as if she is thee STANDARD is ridiculous. Doja never mentioned Beyoncé as an Inspiration. She said Janet & Nicki, lol

I’m NOT saying Beyoncé has no talent and doesn’t deserve to be acknowledged but she is no musical INNOVATOR. She knows how to glam up and twirl her hair around.

I understood what you where saying. I was simply piggybacking off your statement.

Shut up dumb ass illiterate faggat

I agree 100% 👌 I believe she’s using black themes to make herself relevant and that’s why I think Renaissance is her way to do it again on a bigger way.

@Toney WTF is your problem? GTFO NOW

Better! I’m not a fan of the other cover for the cd.

History will prove you wrong.

Critique all you want. It doesn’t mean a thing. Beyoncé wins!

She tries so hard to be deep and she is actually the same woman with songs like “freakum dress” & “bootylicious” lol. Maybe she should let Rihanna A&R for her. She can show her how to pick good music . Beyonce will never be “deep”, that’s Solange.

The new album is about to be epic. The Queen has everyone shooketh.

Beyonce and The-Dream have established a long and fruitful creative partnership that has gifted the world classics such as ‘Single Ladies’ and ‘Run The World (Girls).’

Their latest offering is global smash ‘Break My Soul’ – the lead single from Queen Bey’s upcoming album ‘Renaissance.’

Beyonce is bringing the heat!

Fresh from unwrapping the tracklist for her hotly anticipated new album ‘Renaissance,’ the creative credits for the LP have been revealed.
