MILL HALL — A new ordinance in Mill Hall will update its address markers.

Mill Hall Borough has enacted a new 911 addressing ordinance that will require residents/property owners to upgrade existing address markers for emergency responders. The ordinance will update existing address signs with more visible markers.

The new reflective markers feature high visibility for day or night, durable reflective vinyl underlay, bold reflective vinyl lettering, are fade resistant to last for years, an aluminum baseplate and are predrilled for fastening.

The fire company is offering the markers at a “very reasonable price” for borough residents.

“With this new ordinance we are requiring everyone to get blue or green (markers) in the borough. The fire company is set up to make those for people,” said Council President Daniel McCloskey.

The best way to catch somebody there would be to leave a message on the answering machine, according to Mill Hall Fire Chief Tony Walker.

The markers can be ordered through the fire company and picked up at the fire hall, 9 Peale Ave., Mill Hall.

Please call 570-726-4792 for any questions or to order the new marker(s) for homes, cabins or businesses.
